Duration: (120 Minutes) Homeopathy is the art of healing the individual by means of selecting a remedy based on the patients' peculiar and characteristic symptom picture and not the name of the medically diagnosed disease. Every patient is as different in their diseases as they are in facial features or personality traits. If a body is displaying symptoms of disease or illness it is the whole body that is not well and the physical, mental and emotional symptoms help us to read the map of the imbalanced state. Expect to be asked questions about every aspect of a symptom: size, color, shape, type of pain, when it occurs etc....also changes of temperature, appetite, mood, personal history & family history of disease. These questions help us to build up a unique picture of the whole body-mind. The picture will lead to the selection of a remedy, NOT to suppress the symptom but to encourage the body to alter its energy so that it heals itself by a process of elimination and adaption - an evolutionary process. The person that chooses to embark on such a process is choosing to develop and grow and is always actively participating in the healing process. We are born with a self-regulating system, one based extensively on chemical interaction. We have a 'body clock' that keeps everything ticking automatically. We also have a 'Home-Guard' the immune system, which is highly efficient, but for the body's chemistry to work there has to be a dynamic force within. So, what is it that links body, mind and soul? Well in Homeopathy it is known as The Vital Force. The concept of the Vital Force equates to the Chinese concept of Qi or Chi or as in the Japanese system of Reiki (life force).  "The cure of the part should not be attempted without the treatment of the whole"; in other words you cannot treat and cure the body without taking the emotions, the mind and the soul into the balance.
